Our studio is on Cowdenbeath High Street, close to Edinburgh and easy to reach by car or public transport. It covers 1,800 sqft over two floors, with 8–10 different set-ups and full professional Bowens strobe lighting included.

The studio

While you're working at 244 there is always a member of staff on hand to help models and photographers — as much or as little as you need. It keeps everyone safe and makes sure you capture the very best images possible.

Discretion is paramount. If you'd like privacy during your shoot that matters to us too, and we'll keep out of the way. We have many coloured paper and fabric backdrops on motorised quad background setups for quick changes, along with our ever-changing semi-permanent sets. The studio is accessible by train, bus and car, with free parking just around the corner.

Across 2 floors with 12 shooting areas, including 3 motorised paper backdrop areas.

15 x Bowens

Strobe lighting, constant lights, black light and battery units. Every setup is on its own trigger channel, so several areas can be used at once (universal triggers supplied).

Assistance

Lighting assistance is freely available from all of our staff.

Changing room

A private changing room with a hair and make-up area.

Showers

Showering facilities for those messy body paint shoots.

Refreshments

Tea, coffee, water, soft drinks and biscuits always on hand.

Studio days

National & international models, all year round

We specialise in organising full studio days and weekends with national and international models. Models working with us can stay at the studio while on tour, saving on Airbnb and hotel costs.

We're always on the lookout for amazing touring models to work with while they're in Scotland.
